ASIM, Sep 21

A new chapter begins as we look ahead to AAD 2028!

Following a successful five days at AFB Waterkloof for #AAD2026, the leadership baton has formally passed from CAASA to the South African Aerospace, Maritime and Defence Industries Association (AMD), who will serve as the lead partner for the next edition.

The official announcement was made on the final day by Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Angie Motshekga, who praised the dedication of all exhibitors, international delegates, and SANDF personnel for delivering a world-class showcase.

Looking to the future, Minister Motshekga also highlighted the power of the expo to spark curiosity in young minds, encouraging families to connect the next generation with the endless possibilities across aerospace, science, and technology.

Mark your calendars: AAD 2028 will take place from 27 September to 1 October 2028.
