Space Domain at AFRIDEX 2026

July space domain reporting across Africa points to activity across Earth observation, satellite navigation, data-sharing, capacity-building and dual-use infrastructure.

South Africa’s GC2T added a high-altitude pseudo-satellite capability to its portfolio, offering potential communications relay and surveillance services without the cost or ownership barriers of traditional satellite systems.

AFRIDEX 2026 takes place 26–29 October at Eko Atlantic, Lagos, Nigeria.
