Singapore is stepping up efforts to future-proof its aviation workforce

National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) have launched two initiatives to better support young professionals entering the sector – the NTUC Aerospace & Aviation Youth Chapter and the S$2.6 million OneAviation Early Careers Mentorship Programme.

Backed by the OneAviation Manpower Fund, these programmes will provide structured mentorship and career support for 2,200 early-career workers over the next five years, in critical roles like ground handling.
