Sigma Advanced Systems Expands Nasmyth’s Aerospace Footprint with Bromford Precision Solutions Acquisition

In a major consolidation within the global aerospace and defense supply chain, Sigma Advanced Systems (Nasmyth’s parent company) has announced the acquisition of UK-based Bromford Precision Solutions. The strategic transaction, valued at approximately GBP 11.89 million, is expected to close by the end of July 2026.

Based in Leicestershire and established in 1988, Bromford is a premier manufacturer of complex aero-engine rings, compressor casings, and ducts, holding key approvals from industry leaders such as Rolls-Royce and Siemens.

This acquisition significantly enhances Nasmyth’s precision machining and fabrication capabilities, creating a globally integrated manufacturing platform linking the UK and India. Executives Sunil Kalidindi (CEO of Sigma Advanced Systems) and John Rooney (CEO of Nasmyth) emphasized that the combined group is now uniquely positioned to support major OEMs and Tier-One suppliers with increased capacity and enhanced supply chain resilience.

Both Sigma Advanced Systems and Nasmyth delegations will showcase these newly expanded capabilities at the upcoming Farnborough International Airshow 2026 (July 20–24), welcoming partners, clients, and media to discuss their vision for future aerospace and defense programs.
