Safran sign a cooperation agreement with Diehl Defence in the joint development of the HUSSAR light air-to-ground missile at the Eurosatory 2026

ASIM, Jun 17

As a loitering munition, HUSSAR can patrol designated areas, identify, and strike high-
value targets as they appear. Deployed in swarms, these effectors can saturate enemy
defenses or coordinate engagements against multiple targets, providing agility and
responsiveness in dynamic operational contexts.

This new agreement reinforces the strong ties with Diehl Defence and shared
ambition to develop a new family of sovereign European air-to-ground effectors.
