Nigeria hosts AFRIDEX 2026

Nigeria hosts AFRIDEX 2026, and the Ministry of Defence leads a delegation with a direct stake in every one of the exhibition’s five domains.

The Nigerian Armed Forces are undergoing sustained transformation, expanding local production through the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria while continuing to lead peacekeeping contributions across the continent. The Army, Navy and Air Force are each modernising in parallel, from naval shipbuilding to aerospace maintenance to UAV development.

With procurement running across a wide supplier base and a clear push toward local production and sustainment, the delegation will be exploring partnerships in naval shipbuilding, UAV development and aerospace maintenance support, alongside technology transfer opportunities that strengthen DICON’s domestic manufacturing capability.

From 26 to 29 October, Eko Atlantic becomes the meeting point for Land, Maritime, Air, Space and Cyber exhibitors, visitors and delegates from across Africa and beyond, with the host nation’s own leadership setting much of the agenda.
