FAMEX and Querétaro Strengthen Strategic Collaboration Ahead of FAMEX 2027

At the facilities of the Ministry of Sustainable Development of the State of Querétaro, the Director of the Mexico Aerospace Fair (FAMEX) Committee and Ing. Marco Antonio Salvador Del Prete Tercero, Minister of Sustainable Development for the State of Querétaro, signed an official Letter of Intent to enhance institutional collaboration leading up to FAMEX 2027.

This key signing ceremony was attended by prominent representatives from government, industry, and academia:

🔹 Lic. Arturo Guerrero Gómez, Director of Business Development at SEDESU

🔹 Lic. José Luis Servién Weissweiler, Head of the Productive Chains Department at SEDESU

🔹 Mtro. José Alberto Dorantes Lambarri, Representative of the Aeronautics University in Querétaro (UNAQ)

🔹 Ing. Gabriel Francisco Arreola, Operations Manager at GE Aerospace

Through this Letter of Intent, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to working jointly to boost the participation of the State of Querétaro at FAMEX 2027, as well as advancing negotiations to formalize a space use agreement for exhibition space within the fairgrounds.

This strategic partnership highlights the importance of triple-helix collaboration—government, industry, and academia—to drive the growth of the Aerospace, Defence, and Security sectors, foster business integration, attract foreign direct investment, and unlock new economic and technological development opportunities for Mexico.
