Senegal maintains one of West Africa’s most respected and professionally regarded armed forces.

The Chief of the General Staff provides command direction across the Senegalese Armed Forces, with responsibilities spanning territorial defence, security along the country’s borders, maritime protection across an Atlantic coastline and exclusive economic zone, and a long standing national contribution to international peace support operations.

Organisations working in mobility, surveillance, communications, maritime patrol, training and sustainment will engage a command with requirements across land, air and maritime forces.
