Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR) has officially kicked off its national ‘No Roads’ Flight Tour! On Friday, September 4, 2026, the all-electric Midnight eVTOL completed a piloted city-to-city roundtrip flight between Salinas Municipal Airport and Hollister Municipal Airport in California.
Key Flight Highlights:
- ⏱️ Time Savings: ~12 minutes per leg by air vs. 40+ minutes by ground transport.
- ⚡ Performance: Speeds of up to 125 mph cruising at 3,550 feet, covering over 40 miles roundtrip.
- 📈 Momentum: Follows a heavy flight test phase with over 70 completed flights in August alone.
Setting the Stage for eIPP & LA28
Working closely with the FAA and regional partners, Archer is preparing for expansion across Northern California (Monterey, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco) before launching operations in Los Angeles, Texas, Florida, and New York under the White House’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).
