July land domain reporting across Africa points to activity across border security, mobility, protected vehicles, personnel carriers and integrated surveillance.
France transferred a C-IED and force-protection equipment package to Benin including IED detectors, portable jammers and disruptor systems. Rheinmetall announced a contract to supply seven highly mobile field hospitals to Morocco. Astra Trucks and Iveco Defence Vehicles are set to enhance South African Air Force tactical radar mobility. Turkish firms signalled early-stage commercial interest in Uganda’s defence requirements. And AMD called for stronger regulatory reform, export support and global partnerships for South Africa’s defence industry.
