Indo Defence Expo & Forum at Singapore Airshow 2026

ASIM, Feb 02

As part of its ongoing commitment to support the advancement of Indonesia’s defence, aerospace, and aviation ecosystem, Indo Defence Expo & Forum will be present at an international aerospace and defence exhibition in Singapore from 03–06 February 2026.

This attendance reflects continued efforts to engage with international stakeholders, stay aligned
with global market developments, and explore partnership opportunities ahead of the upcoming
exhibition in Indonesia.

In this evolving environment, the global defence industry is increasingly shaped by the need to
respond to evolving operational demands with solutions that can be adopted efficiently and
integrated within existing capability frameworks. Market dynamics indicate a clear shift toward
prioritising speed of deployment, system interoperability, and scalability, as defence stakeholders
seek to address immediate capability requirements while maintaining long term adaptability. This
environment is driving stronger interest in integrated systems, modular architectures, and
collaborative industry approaches that support multi domain operations and resilient force
structures. As a result, defence procurement and industrial development are becoming more closely
aligned with platforms and solutions that emphasise readiness, flexibility, and sustainable capability
development across air, land, and maritime domains. (Source: Naval Technology)

These developments highlight the increasing need for industry platforms that are able to translate
global innovation into practical, market oriented opportunities. In this context, The 11th Indonesia’s
Of icial Tri-Service Defence Event is positioned to facilitate the alignment of global industry insights
with Indonesia’s defence market, while supporting industry readiness for future growth and
technological advancement.

To further reinforce this role, the exhibition will feature two dedicated strategic program areas
designed to strengthen collaboration and capability development within the national defence
ecosystem. The Innovation Zone is designed to support the downstreaming and commercialisation
of national defence research (Batekhan), encourage collaboration between research institutions and
industry players, and provide visibility for emerging defence technology enterprises.

Complementing this initiative, the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Zone will highlight
national MRO capabilities (Baharwat) while facilitating engagement with international partners,
investment stakeholders, and technical collaborators, supporting Indonesia’s broader objective to
enhance its position within the regional defence maintenance hub.
