Special invitation to FAMEX 2025

The organizing committee of the Mexico Aerospace Fair (FAMEX) was created in 2014 by the Secretariat of National Defense with the objective of contributing to the development of the aerospace industry in our country by disseminating the latest advances. This work is supported by the IV mission of the Organic Law of the Mexican Army and Air Force.

The first aerospace fair was held in 2015, and since then it has become an event celebrated every two years. Starting with the third edition, the participation of various countries as guests of honor was implemented, Canada in 2019, the United States in 2021, and France in 2023. For this upcoming 2025 edition, the first launch of FAMEX took place last March, announcing Brazil as the selected nation of honor and Querétaro as the invited Mexican entity of honor.

One of the main objectives of FAMEX is to promote international collaboration and exchange, looking towards the future, FAMEX’s plans are to position the nation as a strong candidate in the aerospace industry along with the development of drone equipment and high-tech aerospace systems.

FAMEX has witnessed the continuous growth of the aerospace industry in Mexico, which today is a key player in the international arena. Since its first edition, the fair has had the participation of countries from around the world, which has contributed to the exchange of knowledge, technology and innovation, as well as the generation of business and strategic alliances.

The edition scheduled for 2025 will be held at Military Air Base No. 1 in Santa Lucía, State of Mexico from April 23 to 26. This event will commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Mexican Air Force, the 80th of the end of World War II, as well as the tenth anniversary of the holding of FAMEX.

It is also worth mentioning that the next edition of the fair will feature various aerial and static exhibitions of military aircraft from both national and friendly countries, including the Airbus A400M from Spain, the KC-390 Millennium from Brazil and the F-35 from the United States.
