Eve Air Mobility (“Eve”) has unveiled the name of its Urban Air Traffic Management (Urban ATM) software, Vector, at the Airspace World in Geneva, alongside updates on its development. Designed as an agnostic solution to address the unique challenges of current and future Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) operations, Vector focuses on fleet and vertiport operators, as well as future service providers for AAM, including Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs). Eve aims to deliver an operational version of the software soon, allowing customers to test and trial it to progress the market.
Johann Bordais, Eve’s CEO, emphasizes the significance of Vector in facilitating the integration of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft into low-level urban airspace from the outset of operations. The software streamlines AAM operations, enhancing safety, performance optimization, and resource usage. With 14 customers already onboard, including fleet operators, vertiports, and airspace management providers, Vector promises to make eVTOL operations more efficient while enabling ANSPs and Providers of Services (PSU) for UAM to optimize airspace and air traffic network usage for all users.
