At the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China, held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, deals worth approximately 285.6 billion yuan (around 39.7 billion U.S. dollars) were finalized. These agreements involved 1,195 aircraft of various types, according to the event’s organizing committee. The exhibition, which concluded on Sunday, saw the participation of 1,022 companies from 47 countries and regions over six days. A total of 261 aircraft and 248 types of ground equipment were displayed, and 247 events were hosted, including conferences, signing ceremonies, and business meetings.
Notable highlights of this year’s Airshow China included the J-35A stealth fighter jet, the J-15T fighter jet, and the HQ-19 surface-to-air missile system. The cargo hold of the Y-20 aircraft and lunar samples from China’s Chang’e-6 mission, collected from the far side of the moon, were also showcased. Other impressive displays featured unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned ships, flying cars, and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The event attracted nearly 590,000 visitors and was covered by approximately 4,500 journalists from over 400 media outlets both domestically and internationally.
