ASIM, Jun 15
HENSOLDT and Project Q have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Eurosatory in Paris, laying the foundation for collaboration in sensor integration, edge computing and multi-domain operations.
At the heart of the partnership is the combination of our #MDOcore integration platform and sensor-proximate AI with Project Q’s HYDRIS – an open-core integration and orchestration solution that enables seamless connectivity between COTS technologies, legacy systems and data sources in a shared operational environment. In parallel, the two companies plan joint development in acoustic and seismic sensor technology, targeting the detection of drones, vehicles and personnel.
Sven Heursch, Chief Digital Officer and Head of Software-Defined Defence at HENSOLDT: “With HYDRIS, Project Q addresses a capability that is becoming increasingly crucial for modern defence architectures: the seamless orchestration of heterogeneous systems at the tactical level in real time. This would allow us to expand our portfolio with cost-effective sensors available in high volumes.”
Areas of application span both defence and civil security, including the protection of critical infrastructure.
