Day 1 of AFRIDEX 2026

ASIM, Oct 28

Yesterday, the conversations centred on partnership, trust and Africa’s security. Today, you can be part of them.

Day 1 of AFRIDEX 2026 brought military, government and industry perspectives together around a shared priority: building security capabilities that endure.

From intelligence sharing and joint planning to international cooperation, the discussions explored what effective partnerships need to deliver.

Alongside them, the exhibition floor connected those strategic priorities with the technologies, manufacturers and expertise available to support them.

Among the exhibitors captured in yesterday’s highlights are @Barzan Holdings, Terra Industries, DICON D7G, Resource Industries – UAE, Skydance, Rovin Guard, Proforce Limited, mh Service, Aselsan, Captain Andy’s and STM.

Military and institutional perspectives featured include those from U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), Nigerian Army Resource Centre, the UK’s Integrated Global Defence Network, Senegalese defence representatives and the Somali National Armed Forces.

For anyone working in defence and security, this is an opportunity to hear the priorities directly, examine relevant capabilities and meet organisations that could support your next requirement.

Watch the highlights, then join the conversations in Lagos. AFRIDEX continues today and tomorrow, closing on 29 October.
