At the 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China), SkyFive IFC China CEO, Bruce Li, and Thales Aerospace Communications VP Sales & Marketing, Yves Ambiehl, officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly advance the deployment of 5G Air-to-Ground (ATG) technology in the Chinese aviation market. The partnership aims to deliver efficient and reliable inflight broadband connectivity solutions to China’s aviation sector using cutting-edge 5G ATG technology ✈️
The customized 5G ATG antenna, co-developed specifically for the Chinese market, was showcased and is now entering the flight testing phase. This collaboration highlights the significant performance and capacity enhancements that mobile communication technology can bring to the aviation industry.
