AIRCAIRO Drives Fleet Expansion and Strategic Alliances at El Alamein International Airshow 2026

As part of the official “Route of Air&Spaceshows” B2B circuit, ASIM highlights AIRCAIRO’s major strategic milestones achieved during the El Alamein International Airshow & Space Exhibition (EIAS 2026) under the leadership of Chairman & CEO, Mr. Hussein Sherif.
Aligning with its ambitious vision toward 2035 to operate over 130 aircraft, AIRCAIRO concluded key international agreements:
🔹 Fleet Development & Aircraft Orders:
- Firm order for 15 Airbus A320neo aircraft (first direct acquisition) with 15 additional planned, totaling 30 aircraft.
- Lease agreements for 8 Airbus A320ceo with AviLease, Castlelake, and FTAI Aviation.
🔹 Engines, Support & MRO Services:
- Selection of CFM LEAP-1A engines for 15 A320neo aircraft (plus options for 15 more and spare engines).
- MRO agreement with MTU Maintenance for LEAP-1A engine support.
- Extended Flight Hour Services and spare parts agreement with Airbus.
🔹 Strategic Partnerships:
- MoU with Abu Dhabi Aviation Group covering fleet solutions, MRO, training, and capacity development.
- Key alliances with IATA, National Authority for Tunnels, cargo, catering, and aviation services.
These historic agreements reinforce Egypt’s positioning as a vital aviation and connectivity hub linking Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and global markets.
