The Armed Forces of Cape Verde protect an archipelago of ten islands and an exclusive economic zone many times the size of the national landmass, sitting on Atlantic routes of significant importance to regional maritime security. The Coast Guard operates as a core component of the force.
Organisations working in maritime domain awareness, patrol vessels, coastal surveillance, unmanned systems and air maritime patrol will engage a force built around exactly these requirements.
