New Anti-UAV Infrastructure Defence System at El Alamein International Airshow 2026

For the first time at the International Airshow EIAS 2026 (El Alamein International Airshow 2026), hosted by an Egyptian city of El Alamein, September 8 — 10, 2026, the High-Precision Weapons JSC of State Corporation Rostec to present its latest Aerial Targets Engagement System Bison.
The Bison consists of a command post and machine-gun mounts. The command post conducts radar reconnaissance and provides target designation to the machine-gun mounts. The mounts are controlled from automated workstations.
Each machine-gun mount is equipped with four 7.62mm machine guns and includes an optoelectronic system with television and thermal imaging channels, an automatic target tracking system, and a laser rangefinder.
“All processes are fully automated. The operator only needs to make a decision and issue a command to engage the target. The system demonstrates high effectiveness in real-world conditions,” the company said.
Modularity and installation of ATES (Aerial Targets Engagement System) Bison on mobile wheeled platforms allow the staff to quickly transfer the system between facilities and promptly change firing positions.
Earlier on the High-Precision Weapons JSC of State Corporation Rostec for the first time announced a supply of such system to the Ministry of Defence of the RF.
