Eve Air Mobility and FDOT Partner to Advance Advanced Air Mobility in Florida at FIA26

Eve Air Mobility has announced a strategic partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to advance Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) testing and operational research at Florida’s dedicated SunTrax Air facility.

The initiative leverages Eve’s expertise in eVTOL aircraft, operations, and services alongside SunTrax Air’s research and validation infrastructure. Key focus areas include:

• 🔹 Infrastructure Readiness: Developing vertiport and support framework standards.
• 🔹 Airspace Integration: Testing operational and airspace navigation procedures for safe integration.
• 🔹 Ecosystem Blueprint: Setting foundational standards for future commercial eVTOL deployment across Florida.

“Florida recognizes its strategic role in the future of Advanced Air Mobility and is proactively building the ecosystem needed to support it,” noted Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility.
