PHINIA Debut at Farnborough International Airshow 2026

Global industrial supplier and propulsion technology leader PHINIA Inc. (NYSE: PHIN) is set to make its official debut at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 (July 20–24), marking a significant milestone in its European aerospace expansion. The company will showcase its advanced manufacturing technologies designed for both current and next-generation propulsion systems at Hall 4, Stand 4810.
The Group’s European growth is gaining momentum through the securing of two new customer contracts, supported by engineering and production activities in France and the UK. PHINIA’s engineering center in Blois, France, has achieved certification to support aerospace programs, while its UK facilities in Gillingham and Stonehouse are on track for certification in Q4 2026 ahead of customer program launches.
At Farnborough, PHINIA will highlight its end-to-end capabilities spanning the entire product lifecycle—from early-stage engineering and prototyping to qualification and full-scale production. This comprehensive approach relies on advanced precision technologies, including electrical discharge machining (EDM), electrochemical machining (ECM), precision grinding, and advanced coatings.
A key highlight of PHINIA’s showcase is its femtosecond laser machining capability. While laser machining remains uncommon in the aerospace sector, PHINIA brings more than a decade of high-volume production experience with this technology. It allows for highly precise cutting, drilling, and welding without thermal impact or material damage, enabling more complex component designs with extreme accuracy.
Todd Anderson, VP and Chief Technology Officer at PHINIA, emphasized that the company’s strength lies in its ability to solve complex engineering challenges while reducing risk and complexity for customers. He noted that the precision and scalability developed over decades in fuel systems are highly transferable, offering exciting new opportunities across the global aerospace and defense sectors.
