From 19–21 June 2026, the AAD Youth Foundation hosted a three-day Mathematics Summit Educator Programme at the Eskom Academy of Learning.
The programme brought together 15 Foundation Phase educators from the SediWes District for a meaningful platform of knowledge-sharing, skills development and practical learning.
Facilitated by expert practitioners from the South African Military Academy, Vaal University of Technology and Durban University of Technology, the summit equipped educators with innovative teaching approaches to strengthen mathematics education at early learning level.
Through initiatives like this, the AAD Youth Foundation continues to support the development of young minds by empowering the educators who guide them.
