ERC System, Rheinmetall and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia are joining forces to industrialize the heavy-lift cargo drone Victor U250 – in Germany.
Signed today at ILA Berlin 2026, the partnership lays the groundwork to establish serial production and the supporting supply chain for Victor U250 – our uncrewed, hybrid-electric heavy-lift cargo drone.
The partnership brings together ERC’s eVTOL technology, Rheinmetall‘s expertise as an approved aviation organisation and provider of uncrewed flight systems, and the State of NRW’s support on funding, sites and approval processes. The shared goal: keep a critical, sovereign technology in Germany – and create several hundred qualified jobs by 2029.
