His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, issued Edict (21) of 2026 amending Article (II) of Edict (61) of 2009 establishing and forming the Supreme Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow.
Article (II) of Edict (61) of 2009 concerning the establishment and formation of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow was replaced with the following:
“The Supreme Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow shall be chaired by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, and shall comprise the following:
· Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, as Vice Chairman;
· Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Bahraini Air Force; as a member;
· Mr Husain Al Shuail, Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, as a member;
· Mr Yousif Mahmoud, Director General of the Bahrain International Airshow, as a member; and
· Two experienced members nominated by the Chairman of the Committee.”
