Airbus and the @Centro de Formación Técnica Estatal de Santiago (CFT) have signed an agreement to integrate the Airbus Competence Trainer (ACT) for Academy into the institution’s curriculum- making CFT the first school in the Latin America region to implement this advanced learning tool.
Starting in the second semester of 2026, CFT will establish two dedicated learning rooms equipped with ACT for Academy. This initiative will provide students with direct access to Advanced/modern Aircraft technology training technology, moving beyond theory into a learning by doing environment.
ACT for Academy uses a 3D virtual aircraft—including a virtual cockpit and engines—to allow students to practice on real-world scenarios in a digital space.
