The International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE, with 46 years of experience, is an exhibition dedicated to presenting technologies in Aerospace, Defense and Security, positioning Chile as a benchmark in Latin America. For this reason, Aerocardal will present the Aircraft Industries L 410 NG turboprop aircraft from the Omnipol Group, which is operated as a civilian aircraft by commercial airlines, government agencies, armed forces and aviation clubs around the world.
This aircraft combines high performance with cost-effective operation for short- and medium-haul passenger and cargo transport, as it is designed for short takeoffs and landings. In addition to its low operating costs, it boasts excellent performance at high temperatures and altitudes. It also performs exceptionally well in extreme weather conditions, safely, and features the most spacious passenger cabin in its class.
In Chile, the L 410 NG has proven its reliability in demanding regional operations, including regular flights to Robinson Crusoe Island, where its short takeoff and landing capabilities are particularly noteworthy. This turboprop aircraft also operates as an air ambulance for transporting stabilized patients with medical equipment.
Among its specifications, this model has a speed of 417 km/h; a range of 2,100 kilometers; capacity for 19 passengers and integrates modern technologies such as the Garmin G300 Glass Cockpit integrated system.
FIDAE 2026 will feature participating companies that will share aspects related to sustainable development, including their internal processes, such as energy efficiency, control of polluting emissions, responsible management of natural resources, waste generation and management, efficient aircraft design, alternative fuels and renewable energies, among other actions.
