BELL TEXTRON WILL LAND ITS BELL 429 HELICOPTER AT FIDAE 2026

ASIM, Feb 21

The new version of the International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE 2026, will feature the participation of Bell Textron and its Bell 429 helicopter, a light twin-engine helicopter capable of flying with a single pilot.

The impetus for the development of this aircraft came primarily from the emergency medical services industry, which was seeking a more modern aircraft. Therefore, the Bell 429 combines comfort, technology, and precision to fulfill critical missions in the corporate, medical, public safety, and energy sectors.

Its intelligent design makes it a reliable and versatile platform for any operation. This is thanks to its spacious cabin, which can be customized with seating for six passengers. In addition, it features adaptive instrument display units, characterized by their configuration that integrates a primary flight display for the pilot. And the BasixPro software performs all the necessary calculations for a smooth flight.

Furthermore, visual tools enable safe landings with satellite guidance systems that allow for precise flight path detection. The standard navigation component, the Garmin GTN 650/750 WAAS GPS, provides intuitive control via a touchscreen. The extensive range of functionalities includes graphical flight planning, detailed terrain mapping and alerts, and georeferenced charts for high-precision approaches. The helicopter is equipped with PW207D1 engines, offering a range of up to 370 nautical miles.

The 2026 edition of FIDAE will be an effective commercial platform showcasing the latest advances in aerospace, defense and security, where exhibitors internationalize their portfolio of products and services to the most important companies attending the Fair, delivering real business opportunities and solutions to clients in emerging market economies.
