The Ariane 6 Launcher Task Force comprises top management from ESA, the overall procuring entity and launch system architect; the French space agency CNES, the launch base prime contractor; ArianeGroup, the launcher system prime contractor; and Arianespace, the launch service provider. This group regularly reports on the progress towards the inaugural flight of the new Ariane 6 launcher. The teams are narrowing down the launch period, with the first attempt scheduled within the first two weeks of July 2024. We are on track and aligned with the launch period communicated in November. The tentative date for the first launch attempt will be announced at the ILA airshow in Berlin, Germany, held from June 5 to June 9, where all task force members will be present.
