The Airbus-manufactured EUTELSAT 36D geostationary telecommunications satellite has been transported from Toulouse, France to Sanford, Florida, USA, utilizing an Airbus BelugaST (A300-600ST). Its subsequent destination is the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where it is scheduled for launch into orbit aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 later this month. As the new BelugaXL, built on the larger A330-200 platform, comes into service, the A300-600 based BelugaST fleet is now fully operational, providing outsized freight transport services worldwide.
