Aviation Capital Group Grows Boeing 737 MAX Portfolio with Order for 35 Jets

ASIM, jul 18

Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG) announced today that ACG has finalized an order for 35 737 MAX jets, which includes 16 of the 737-8 variant and 19 of the larger 737-10 variant. This new purchase follows an incremental 737 MAX order last year and increases ACG’s total 737 MAX commitment to 82 orders, reflecting ACG’s strategy to expand its portfolio with fuel-efficient aircraft to meet growing customer demand.

Thomas Baker, Chief Executive Officer and President of ACG, stated, “This firm order for additional 737 MAX aircraft enhances the strategic value of ACG’s order book, supports a key pillar of our growth strategy, and reinforces our commitment to investing in modern and fuel-efficient aircraft technology. We look forward to supporting our airline customers worldwide with these highly versatile and fuel-efficient aircraft.” The 737-8 and 737-10 models offer significant advantages, including reduced fuel use and carbon emissions by 20%, with capacities of up to 210 and 230 passengers respectively. Each 737 MAX saves up to eight million pounds of CO2 emissions annually and has a 50% smaller noise footprint than the airplanes they replace, demonstrating the market demand for these efficient jets.
