Preparing for the arrival of the Airbus A321XLR, our pilots have begun training on a state-of-the-art simulator, with the first aircraft expected in Australia by April 2025. Over 240 pilots will be trained on this new model over the next three years using the advanced CAE 7000XR Series A320 simulator, which is one of the few globally equipped with a dual head-up display.
The A321XLR, the longest-range aircraft in the A320 family, will enhance the flying experience with features such as wider seats, the largest overhead storage in its class, higher ceilings, larger windows, and fast, free Wi-Fi. The aircraft will offer 197 seats, including 20 business class seats and 177 economy seats, providing a superior travel experience compared to the Boeing 737.
