EasyJet has unveiled its largest new routes release, adding 60 new routes for the upcoming winter 2024 season, including 33 from 11 UK airports. Notable inaugural flights are to Tromso in Norway and Strasbourg in France. This expansion will allow the low-cost carrier to offer over 1,000 routes to more than 160 airports in 36 countries, with fares starting at £26.99. Tromso will be accessible from London Gatwick, Bristol, and Manchester, while the Gatwick-Strasbourg route will operate thrice weekly. Additional routes include flights from Luton to Athens, Basel, and Djerba, and from Manchester to Djerba and Akureyri in Iceland. Other UK airports benefiting include Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds, Belfast, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. EasyJet’s UK country manager, Ali Gayward, expressed delight over the new range of routes, highlighting the enhanced choice and value for customers. With these additions, EasyJet now offers 584 routes to 136 destinations from 21 UK airports, connecting Europe and beyond.
