LYNEports won the Aerospace Xelerated (AX) Startup Pitch Competition held on July 25, 2024, at the Farnborough International Airshow. The Romanian company, known for its advanced air mobility planning solutions, was chosen from six finalists, including Eddytec, Estuaire, Sora Aviation, OneGrab, and Flux Aviation. LYNEports impressed the judges with its founder’s compelling pitch, the product’s potential, and its impact on the aerospace sector. As the winner, LYNEports received £5,000 in prize money, six months of mentorship, and an exclusive exhibition space at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow.
The competition, which featured startups addressing Innovative Workforce, Sustainability in Aerospace, and Next-Gen Travel, highlighted a diverse range of innovative solutions, with a notable emphasis on sustainability and female-founded companies. Nichola Bates from Aerospace Xelerated and Jacqui Sutton from Farnborough International Ltd praised the event’s role in showcasing UK-based entrepreneurial talent and advancing gender diversity in aerospace. The Startup Zone, a new addition to the airshow, was created to spotlight early-stage companies and foster connections with industry leaders and investors.
