PT Napido Media Ashatama, the organizer of Indo Defence 2024 Expo, has taken a significant step forward with the initiation of the selection process for its inaugural cohort of students. This milestone was marked by the administrative selection event held on April 24th and 25th, 2024, at Sekolah Taruna Nusantara in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. Following the signing ceremony of The Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship at Indo Defence 2024 in February, this selection process reinforces a mutual dedication to fostering international collaboration and inspiring the next generation of aerospace leaders and innovators.

Over the span of two days, students and educators engaged in a rigorous Assessment Test aimed at identifying the most qualified candidates to represent Indonesia on a global scale. With a total of 28 students and 2 educators participating in this initial selection phase, criteria such as English proficiency, health status, personality traits, and a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) were assessed. “We are thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and dedication of these exceptional students and educators,” remarked Arya Seta, Managing Director at PT Napindo. “Our goal is to assemble a cohesive team that not only embodies the finest Indonesian talent but also highlights our nation’s potential on an international stage.” Looking forward, the selection process will maintain its focus on language proficiency, including the administration of the TOEFL test during the next assessment phase. This stage aims to identify individuals who not only excel academically but also demonstrate the communication skills necessary for global collaboration and success.
