As the space industry experiences unprecedented growth, global business analysts are urging companies to integrate space assets and activities into their strategic plans. Additionally, NASA and the Department of Defense have escalated their dependence on commercial space services. “Problem Solving in Space Law” aims to offer an overview of space law, emphasizing how international laws, norms, and regulations will impact emerging activities in space, space businesses, and those reliant on space assets. Through real-world examples, the course intends to equip students with insights into legal challenges concerning space business and the mechanisms available to shape evolving aspects of US law and regulation to support commercial industry, scientific endeavors, and environmental preservation in a responsible and sustainable manner.
