ASIM, feb 26. Managing Director PT Napindo Media Ashatama and Executive Director of Kallman Worldwide, Tom Kallman, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship – Indonesia during the Singapore Airshow on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. This significant event, witnessed by Major General Mohammad Fadjar, Director General of Defence Potential in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia, aims to bring the scholarship program to Indo Defence 2024. The goal is to foster greater international understanding and cooperation while inspiring the next generation of innovators, explorers, and leaders in the global aerospace community.
Indo Defence 2024 Expo & Forum, the 10th edition of one of the largest international defence industry exhibitions and forums globally, is poised to set a significant milestone by showcasing the finest innovations, technologies, and expertise in the defence realm. Scheduled for November 6th to 9th, 2024, the event will take place at three venues: Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta, as the main venue, Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Force Base for the aircraft static display, and Pondok Dayung Naval Base for the naval display. Hosted by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia and organized by PT Napindo Media Ashatama, the expo & forum is expected to attract a wide range of local and international exhibitors, with over 1,000 companies from 60 countries, including 35 country pavilions, anticipated to participate. The previous Indo Defence event in 2022 received a positive response, with over 36,000 visitors from 59 countries attending the four-day show, underscoring its significance in the defence industry landscape.
