The International Air and Space Fair 2026 (FIDAE) is the most established, important and renowned Aerospace, Defense and Security Exhibition in Latin America, showcasing the latest technological innovations from the industries related to the sectors it covers. Its origins date back to 1980, when it was created as the International Air Fair (FIDA) to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Chilean Air Force (FACH). It attracted 86 companies from 12 countries, along with 41 aircraft on display at the El Bosque Air Base, which captivated the public. Its success was such that it was decided to hold it every two years.
