At the Farnborough International Airshow 2024, Qatar Airways Group CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer introduced the ultra-modern ‘Qsuite Next Gen’, the latest iteration of the award-winning Qsuite, known as the World’s Best Business Class. The reveal, attended by high-ranking officials, took place at the Qatar Airways Discover Lounge, featuring Sama, the World’s First AI Digital Human cabin crew, who interacted with the audience to showcase the airline’s commitment to redefining luxury and innovation in business class experiences.
Engr. Al-Meer highlighted the Qsuite Next Gen’s new features, including fully customizable Quad Suites, Companion Suites in window aisles, and 4K OLED maneuverable in-flight entertainment screens, enhancing space and privacy. The Quad Suite now offers movable screens to create the largest social and productivity space in the sky for up to four passengers, with enhanced dining space and privacy. The Companion Suite mirrors the Quad Suite’s features, providing similar shared spaces. The Qsuite Next Gen will debut on Qatar Airways’ Boeing B777-9 aircraft by 2025.
At the airshow, Qatar Airways showcased its state-of-the-art Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner and Qatar Executive’s Gulfstream G700, emphasizing the airline’s continuous delivery of excellence. The Boeing 787-9 features the Adient Ascent Business Class Suite, while the Gulfstream G700 offers a spacious cabin with four living areas and a private rear stateroom. These aircraft connect passengers to over 170 global destinations through Hamad International Airport, enhancing Qatar Airways’ reputation for exceptional service. The Qsuite Next Gen, displayed at Chalet C114 – 115 and the Qatar Airways Discover Lounge, continues to attract media and industry attention for its innovative features.
