Pratt & Whitney accomplished significant milestones across its various engine programs. Securing over 1,000 orders and commitments for the GTF engine, including a substantial order from United Airlines for Airbus A321neo and A321XLR aircraft, marked a notable achievement. Additionally, Pratt & Whitney Canada celebrated one billion flying hours and 60 years of PT6 engine excellence, while launching Pratt & Whitney Maroc (PWM) in Casablanca and marking the entry into service of the PW812D-powered Falcon 6X. Furthermore, the company received substantial contract awards totaling $7.1 billion for the production of F135 engines for the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft, and continued work on the F135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) for engine modernization.

Moreover, Pratt & Whitney’s engines powered the B-21 Raider during its first engine runs and maiden flight, demonstrating the company’s pivotal role in powering advanced military platforms. Additionally, progress was made on the 6th generation offering for the Next Generation Adaptive Propulsion program, with detailed design activities nearing completion. These accomplishments underscore Pratt & Whitney’s continued commitment to innovation and excellence in aerospace propulsion technology.
