Common Sensor Payload version 3 systems (CSP v3)

ASIM, march 20

We (Raytheon) have secured a $118 million contract from the US Army to develop new Common Sensor Payload version 3 systems (CSP v3), building upon initial funding received last year. This updated payload includes the implementation of Target Location Accuracy (TLA), facilitating precision and near-real-time engagements with Coordinate Seeking Weapons (CSWs) by significantly reducing the sensor-to-shooter process from minutes to mere seconds. Serving as the “eyes” of the MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft system, the CSP provides day or night imagery. Since 2011, CSPs have amassed over one million flight hours in support of Army units worldwide.
