Avalon 2025 will become a hub for future pathways with a series of programs aimed at paving the way for the next generation of contributors to Australian defence and aerospace capability.
At the heart of this initiative is Careers Day, designed to link secondary and tertiary students with key stakeholders from the Australian Defence Force, aerospace and defence industry representatives. Through exhibition, speaker sessions, and interactive participation opportunities, Careers Day offers a valuable chance for industry players to promote graduate roles and career pathways, fostering the next generation of talent.
In addition, the 2025 Endeavour Scholarship is now open, offering four secondary students and one STEM educator the chance to join Mission Team Australia at Space Camp USA. This international program will bring together teams from around the globe to inspire passionate STEM and space explorers.
Lastly, the Avalon Innovation Pitchfest and Award submissions closes, 25 October, 1700 AEST. Focused on celebrating Australian innovation, the program includes a Young Innovators Award, offering a $40,000 prize to support the development of emerging talent.
