Metrojet Updates Customers’ Obsolete Cockpits with Honeywell MSP

Metrojet Limited, Hong Kong’s first business jet operator established in 1997, expanded its operations to the Philippines in 2012. The company’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) ensures that customers’ aircraft are safe, reliable, and compliant with all airworthiness regulations. Beyond maintenance, Metrojet provides cutting-edge technology and asset protection, managing the technical aspects of aircraft operations. In addition to CAMO services, Metrojet runs world-class maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) centers in Hong Kong and the Philippines and offers aircraft management, air charter, and flight operations services. As a Honeywell authorized dealer, Metrojet helps clients avoid unexpected maintenance costs through avionics upgrades and Honeywell MSP programs.

In recent years, Metrojet has worked closely with Honeywell to help business jet owners tackle the challenge of flight deck obsolescence without long service downtimes. Since 2021, Metrojet has upgraded obsolete MCDU and DU1310-1 Display Units to the latest models for several Gulfstream Primus Epic flight decks, overcoming supply chain issues and meeting tight schedules. These upgrades, completed in as little as five days, offer significant improvements, including better reliability, lighter weight, and enhanced viewing experiences for pilots. Honeywell’s financial incentives and trade-in allowances have made it easier for operators to proactively upgrade their avionics, ensuring continued operational efficiency and safety.
