LOT Polish Airlines has recently received its first Embraer E195-E2, just three months after finalizing the agreement. This initial aircraft of three, leased through Azorra, will soon be operational in Poland, aiming to boost LOT’s operational flexibility and support its network expansion. The E195-E2 is part of LOT’s sustainability initiative, offering 12.5% lower fuel consumption and emissions compared to competitors, and it operates more quietly. All three E195-E2 jets are expected to be delivered by October.

Michał Fijoł, LOT Polish Airlines’ President, highlighted that these new aircraft will enhance flight frequencies to select European cities and align with the airline’s “Destination ECO” strategy for reducing emissions. Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, expressed pride in continuing the partnership with LOT, noting that the E195-E2 is the most efficient and cost-effective jet in its category. LOT was the first to operate Embraer’s E-Jets in 2004, marking a milestone in the success of Embraer’s E-Jet family, which recently saw its 1800th E-Jet delivery.
