As the 2024 Farnborough International Airshow approaches, the event is poised to showcase the best in aerospace innovation against Hampshire’s iconic backdrop. Known for its contributions to aviation technology, the airshow will gather global aerospace and defense leaders, government officials, and industry pioneers over five days, providing a prime platform for exchanging information, making deals, and forming future partnerships. With exhibition space fully booked and extensive infrastructure in place, the event will officially open on Monday, with a special day for visitors on Friday.
This year’s show features a diverse lineup of aircraft, including the Embraer E-Freighter, Windracers Ultra-UAV, Airbus Wingman model, and several eVTOL platforms. The Turkish Aerospace Industries’ Gökbey helicopter will make its international debut, alongside notable military aircraft like the Boeing F-15QA, Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, and F-16. New to the show is the Aerospace Global Forum, offering a platform for industry leaders to discuss innovation, sustainability, and future workforce issues. Additionally, the popular Space Zone Theatre, featuring space-focused companies and agencies, has sold out, reflecting growing interest in the space sector. Building on this momentum, the Farnborough International Space Show is scheduled for March 2025.
