For five days, Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) served as the hub of the aerospace industry. Under the theme “Pioneering Aerospace,” 600 exhibitors from 31 countries showcased their high-tech products and research projects. Over 350 speakers discussed the future of the industry across four stages, focusing on climate-neutral flights, security, advanced air mobility, and space travel.

Reflecting on five remarkable days, there were many highlights:

  • Around 95,000 participants
  • 600 exhibitors from 31 countries
  • Strong presence of federal politicians
  • 200 delegations from 58 countries.

The ILA Talent Hub attracted 1,500 participants, while the flight and static display program featured exciting exhibits like the Emirates A380, Beluga ST, A321 XLR with 30% less fuel consumption, A310 Air Zero G for parabolic flights, and the Do 328 UpLift as a flight testbed.

The event yielded tangible results, including a contract with Airbus Helicopters worth over 1.9 billion euros for the Federal Police, recommendations for action from the Climate-Neutral Aviation Task Force, and the signing of the “Zero Debris Charter” by the European Space Agency (ESA) to combat space debris. Overall, it was a tremendous success, underscoring the importance of ILA Berlin’s key themes of innovation, new technologies, and sustainability for the aerospace industry. We’re already looking forward to the next ILA Berlin, from June 10 to 14, 2026!!
