Exactly 72 years ago, the second oldest aerobatic demonstration team in the world performed its inaugural show. Today, we celebrate not only the history of the Esquadrilha da Fumaça (Smoke Squadron) but its legacy and each of the millions of Brazilians who have been moved by the smoke trails left in the sky for over seven decades. Reaching this milestone reminds us of the selfless work and dedication of every member of this legendary team.
The journey of generations of smoke pilots throughout our history has paved the way to this moment, and it is in this direction that we will continue with the mission of Smoke, representing our Air Force and our country! Long live EDA! Smoke… Now! 🇧🇷
