The Avalon 2023 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition concluded with record-breaking attendance figures, marking its significant growth and success. With 48,516 attendees over the three dedicated trade days, the event witnessed a 24 percent increase compared to the previous industry gathering in 2019, alongside a 14 percent rise in participating companies, totaling 794. The six-day event attracted approximately 248,000 trade and public attendees, hosted 281 official delegations from 38 nations, and featured a diverse program including conferences, presentations, and symposia, making it a premier platform for industry stakeholders to network, showcase innovations, and foster collaborations within the aviation, aerospace, defence, and space sectors.

Avalon 2023 offered an extensive range of indoor and outdoor displays, civil and military flying performances, and a comprehensive conference program, positioning itself as Australia’s largest international aviation and aerospace industry exposition. The event’s success was further highlighted by the presence of high-profile delegations, formal networking programs, innovation initiatives, and engaging activities such as the public airshow spectacular, contributing to its reputation as a leading event in the global aerospace and defence calendar.
