The SELCAL system operates with existing HF and VHF ground-to-air transmitters and receivers. It reduces the pilots\u2019 workload when operating radio communications. When there is a call for the aircraft, the decoder actuates a signal indicator which may be a light, a chime or any combination of such crew alerting devices and enabling swift and reliable call answering. The SELCAL is a racked-mounted, 16-tone decoder for the ICAO and ARINC standard SELCAL system designed to surpass the performance requirements of ARINC 714.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/ethiopian-airlines\/\">Ethiopian Airlines<\/a> is dedicated to embracing cutting-edge technology in the aviation sector.
