H.R.H Prince Fahd bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia was welcomed on Friday at Embraer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil, during a visit of Saudi Startup Delegation within the G20, which focused on groundbreaking innovations in the area of aviation, urban air mobility and aerospace.
The Saudi delegation participated previously in the Startup20 Summit in São Paulo, in partnership with NEOM, a visionary project that is set to transform the Red Sea coast of northwest Saudi Arabia into a futuristic city unlike any other.
The global leader in entrepreneurship and startup policy under the Saudi Vision 2030 goals joined Embraer and NEON executives to discuss emerging technology trends and opportunities to foster collaboration to significantly enhance the Saudi aerospace industry.
Dimas Tomelin, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at Embraer, and Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility, conducted the product overview presentations and the plant tour.
The official visit coincides with a series of events planned by Embraer in September to commemorate Innovation Month, which seeks to foster the innovation ecosystem and connect employees, startups, and leaders around the world.
